May 16th-2009 NYC wrestling championships at City College in Harlem.
IS 93 wrestling team won medals in the following weight divisions:
80 lbs. Joshua Colon - 4th Pl. Varsity
140 lbs. Phillip Donovan - 2nd Pl. Novice
155 lbs. Kevin Sanchez - 4th Pl. Varsity
170 lbs. Robert Gonzalez - 4th pl. Varsity
185 lbs. Alex Morales - 1st pl. Varsity
185 lbs. David Li - 4th Pl. Varsity

Update 11/06/08
The Beacon afterschool program will be funding the IS 93 wrestling Winter season. All students signing up for our school's wrestling team will have to fill out all of the Beacon's applications forms including a medical physical form. The Spring season will again be sponsored by Beat the Streets wrestling.

Sign ups for the IS 93 wrestling team will be held at the Gymnasium at 3:15 pm on these following dates:
Monday 11/10, Wednesday 11/12, Thursday 11/13
IS 93 wrestling - Winter season
All practices will be held in the IS 93 Gymnasium
Practices - Monday and Wednesday from 3:15 to 5:15
Starting November 17th - February 25th
Parents will be notified of upcoming tournaments.
The Beat the streets Spring season
March 1st - TBA
All practices will be held in the IS 93 Gymnasium
Practices - Monday and Wednesday from 3:15 to 5:15
5 duel meets plus playoff tournament at various sites
